Kane Murdoch

I'm the manager of the student conduct unit at a large research university in Sydney, Australia. We investigate the most serious no-goodery at the uni. My particular area of expertise is in the detection of contract cheating, but in terms of misconduct at a university- I've seen it all and investigated it.  I've given regular conference presentations, and provide advice to other universities on contract cheating and the handling of academic misconduct. I was also the co-creator of Courageous Conversations, a student focused restorative justice approach to handling serious misconduct in higher ed.

Before you ask, the dog's name is Humphrey. We miss him very much.
